Our story: JobShadowPro is a family business built on decades of experience in both the trades and professional fields. It began with Ben Pettigrew, a Master Plumber with Pettigrew Plumbing and HVAC, who recognized a need for more accessible career exploration opportunities—especially in the skilled trades. Inspired by his own experiences, he wanted to help students and job seekers understand their options before committing time and resources. Ben's family brought their collective expertise—over 80 years across trades, military, and industry—to create a better way for students, career changers, and businesses to connect.

Giving Back: A key part of our mission is the Referral Partner Program. Through this initiative, proceeds from JobShadowPro experiences are reinvested into scholarships, career readiness programs, and community initiatives that help students and job seekers succeed.
