No. Your employee should continue their normal work routine. The job shadow participant is there to observe and ask questions about the basics of the job. The goal is for the participant to see a typical day in the role.
Experiences must be booked at least 3 business days in advance. You will be notified when an experience is booked.
We highly encourage experience providers to maintain their planned schedule, but we do understand unforeseen circumstances may require a cancellation. An experience seeker has not only paid, but carved time out of their schedule to participate with your business. An experience provider can cancel an experience through the system. The seeker would receive notification and a coupon for their next experience.
Log into your account and go to your schedule. You control your availability and can make changes as needed.
Experience seekers are observers only, so the risk of injury is minimal. In the unlikely event of an accident, your business liability insurance should cover workplace injuries. Contact your insurance provider for additional details.

Job shadowing is meant to help you explore careers and determine if a role is a good fit. Job shadowing is not a guarantee of employment.
No. You will observe and ask questions, but you will not perform the job's tasks.
Job shadowing experiences must be booked at least 3 business days prior to the event. So an event scheduled on Friday, must be booked by Monday. This allows time for preparation and to help ensure your experience is the best it can be.
You will receive an email with the scheduled start time, business address, and details about what to expect and what to bring.
Please refrain as much as possible from cancelling. There is a limited amount of experiences reserved in the calendar. If you must cancel, do so as soon as possible so others can take your spot. If you cancel at least 3 business days in advance, you will be reimbursed. Cancellations within 3 business days will receive a coupon for a future experience.
You will receive specific instructions via email. Generally, plan to bring food, drinks, and appropriate clothing and footwear for the day.
